Hey guys!

So another book! I was lucky enough to be a part of a Zbrush sculpting book with top tier artists like Rafael Grassetti, and Cedric Seaut! It's called Zbrush Character Sculpting V1.

you can check it out here:
[link]

The book covers everything from hard surface, to monsters, creatures, traditional sculpting techniques, and everything in between. Here's the blurb written by 3dtotal:

ZBrush has quickly become an integral part of the 3D modeling industry. ZBrush Character Sculpting: Volume 1 examines the tools on offer in this ground-breaking software, as well as presenting complete projects and discussing how ZSpheres make a great starting point for modeling. Drawing on the traditional roots of classical sculpture, this book also investigates how these teachings can be successfully applied to the 3D medium to create jaw-dropping sculpts.

Featuring industry experts including Rafael Grassetti, Michael Jensen and Cédric Seaut, ZBrush Character Sculpting: Volume 1 is brimming with detailed character-based tutorials covering topics such as monsters, manimals and fantasy creatures. This book also boasts a substantial series of inspirational galleries, ranging from turn-table shots of finished sculpts through to a breakdown of subdivisions to show how detail can be steadily built into a model. Capped by a traditional image gallery, ZBrush Character Sculpting: Volume 1 contains a wealth of advice and knowledge that will benefit aspiring and veteran modelers alike.

Thanks a ton and take care guys!

I really like your DVD's off eat3D... i bought both. I think I liked the 2nd one best as it had more uses of dynamesh. You're excellent as an artist and as a teacher. My latest mesh I started using the hard surface techniques, but I had some issues with zbrush corrupting my files and I got discouraged. I need to get back to it! :) Anyway, just wanted to say you have some awesome material.

Thanks for the great words man! I'm really happy they've helped you out. I feel you about the corrupted files. Those are the worst! My best advise for that is to just save often (I save about every 5 minutes) and save iteratively (aka. file001, file002, file003 etc.) Thanks again =)

Thanks a ton! =) It means a lot to me to be able to inspire others. Your work shows promise! keep at it and continue to practice anatomy, and general forms/silhouette. These are the most important things IMO. MY PC is usually always in use so I can't really render anything for you sorry!
